STARTED FEMALE FOR SALE.            SOLD !!!                          Bristol is out of a talented litter her mother  and father are proven Drahthaars who tested out very nicely in the German  system.  Her father is a German  import and mother brought over from the east coast.  She is a fixed female and at this time is classified as a started female.  She has an excellent bird drive and has powerful search, cattails and bull rush don't stand a chance.  She has more heart than most finished dogs.  She has had birds shot over her and shows natural retrieve and strong pointing instincts.  she is almost finished being whoa broke and is easy to handle. She has a sweet disposition and is very easy to train, she has a little beard and has nice short dense and flat lying coat.  She is 16 months old.  we are asking 1800.00.     Sold !!!

My Three stooges and I am not just talking about my Puppies either. They wanted to pose for a picture with the puppies.  The river valley in which I live in is beautiful this time of year and makes a great backdrop.

The Puppies are growing like weeds wandering the yard, chasing the kids and carrying any thing they can get in there mouths.  They are starting to really show there personalities as well as some nice little beards.  They are started on mush as a supplement all though they don't need it just want weening to go smoothly.

2 1/2 WEEKS OLD

Their eyes are open and they are getting plenty of milk.  Momma is doing a great job with her first litter.  They have have plenty of nipples to use since we are down to three. They are absolutely looking wonderful.  They are showing signs of beard and there coats seam pretty coarse for their age.

This is the bunch with lots of color we have 2 males on the right (one brown/white and the other Black/and white) 3 females on the left ( one brown/white the othe two are black and white)

We are happy to finally have them here we had 9 total we ran in to a few still bornes and one that just wasn't strong enough.  It always is disapointing to loose any puppies at all.  However to look on the brite side there is enough nipples to keep them plenty healthy.  And boy they are some lookers with nice triangles on there noses and lots of color. 

Mom looks great and is doing a wonderful job.

Grafin another German import who is a very nice hunting dog, I would say other than being consistent she is a very hard hunting female. Which because of her desire and will has proven to be a productive asset no matter what we are looking for.  She is a big running female that adapts well to cover but also keeps a eye on me always hunting for me. I would say she is one of the hardiest hunting dogs that I own.  On the other hand an absolute sweetheart with a good disposition around my kids and other dogs.  She has tons of point and retrieve and loves the Water.

Helmut is a dog that I have been watching excitedly since he was born.  He is a son of my stud dog Rex II vom Bockenhagen.  Helmut came from a litter with very tight dense coats with beautiful dispositions in fact there were a couple of 12 coats in this litter with some 11 as well.  Helmut has always been a looker,  he has been fun to watch grow up in to a very talented plus good looking Drahthar.   Helmuts sire was 15 months old when he completed the VGP and his mental stability at a young age with pure talent has been passed down. Helmut did better than that and completed it at 14 months old.  Helmut is a dog with a lot of search and is an exceptional bloodtracking dog.  I know his owner plans to do the 20 hour blood track this year.  His owner told me the harder he challenges him the better he does.  I have heard from a few people he has mastered the Chuckar hills, showing tons of manner behind game holding his birds until Chad gets to him.  I am very excited to see the pups he produces Helmuts mother line (vom Wasatch) is something else, I must not discount as contributor to this litter that should provide the balance of conformation and talent.  Which will tie into my future breeding goals.

My Youngest boys first Goose Hunt !!!

I took the day off from work today and like usual it snows on us so I just hung out with the Kids.  I took my daughter to school and on the way home with the wife and two little boys ( future hunters )  we saw some gees on the Duchesne river by our property. So me and the boys and the dog (Grafin vom Bandorfer-Forst ) put the stalk on them.  I have killed enough geese this year but what the heck the kids had a blast so we posed for the camera. 

Introducing Birdy vom Red-Rock

Well vom Red-Rock welcomes Birdy vom Red-Rock to our Kennel we are seeing alot of Natural ability and plus she is beautiful.  Can't wait to see how she does this year testing The first Test will Be held in Malta Idaho in April we will keep you posted on how she does and her results.

We are really happy to announce Bosco vom Red-Rock to our Kennel.  I haven't been so excited about a male Drahthaar for along time.  From day one I fell in love with him however he has to prove him self this year we will be testing him in Malta Idaho as well.  He really seems to be fearless and a vacuum on blood and any thing else.   We will keep you all posted.
