4 WEEKS OLD !!!

First time they got soggy or soft dog food at first they weren't sure.  But now they are getting the hang of it by tomorrow they will be alittle more exited to get it again.

Mom Greta v. Erthal is doing well she is always a really good mother.  The pups came out with alot of vigor they were all really healthy and doing well there tails will be docked today and dew claws removed as well.  Keep a watch and I will post more pictures soon.

EXPECTED JANUARY 24

We are pleased to announce our H-Litter from tested, registered and qualified Drahthaars.  I have personally trained and hunted over both parents.  They are both excellent dogs when it comes to pointing, searching, tracking and over all dispositions.  I personally use my Drahthaars for upland game, water fowl, and as a hunting guide dog. I also use them for blood tracking and over all companionship dogs.

Greta is an exceptional bird dog she has tons of point and search. She is a pleasure to hunt with, adjusts to cover very well, and always hunts for me.  She loves water and is proficient waterfowl dog.  When it comes to tracking wounded birds and game she tracks very methodically on land or water.  My wife has taken over this dog, she is our full time house dog,  because of her temperament around the house and kids.

Foxi is a dog I got to train after the VJP.  This dog is one of the most natural dogs when comes to hunting and desire to find game.  He has a lot of point and has great manners behind game.  His desire to work is very strong plus he has tremendous desire to please.  He is good with other dogs and kids, very biddable, and easy to train.  He is built very athletic and will hunt all day his gait and stride is almost effortless.  

He has the who's who for pedigrees his parentage is very stacked with talented and good looking Drahthaars.  This breeding is a specific to my goals as a kennel which has and emphasis to a couple of dogs that are on both sides of the pedigree.   

G-LITTER AT 5 weeks

Almost 5 weeks old they are doing so well. They are starting to show a little personality, and get along very well sharing a food dish.  I got done with a good Mallard shoot yesterday and saved one for the puppies to play on. We will be dripping food tracks and doing some wing and string play this next week. And by six weeks we will be weaning the puppies completely by then.
